How am I charged?
You prepay a US-dollar balance. Each request deducts input_tokens × input_price + output_tokens × output_price from it, at the per-million-token prices listed above.
What’s the minimum top-up, and how do I pay?
Top-ups start at $5. Pick a preset ($5 · $10 · $20 · $50 · $100) or enter your own amount, then pay by card through Stripe Checkout. Stripe emails you the receipt.
What happens when my balance runs out?
The gateway rejects requests with 403 until you top up; then retry, nothing else needs to change. You can turn on low-balance email alerts in the console’s notification settings.
Is there a subscription or monthly fee?
No. There’s no subscription, no monthly fee and no minimum spend.
How do I get the discount?
It applies automatically. Discounted models are charged at the price shown on this page, and the struck-through price is the list price. There’s no code to enter.
Can I cap how much a key spends?
Yes. Each API key can have a budget, an expiry date, a model allowlist and an IP allowlist, and requests outside them are rejected. A key’s budget never lets it spend more than your account balance.
How do refunds work?
Top-ups are non-refundable once credited, except in the cases set out in Section 7.4 of our Terms of Service, such as where the law requires a refund or where we charged you incorrectly. Refunds go back to the original payment method where possible, and the refunded amount is deducted from your balance. To ask, email support@cheapaimodel.ai from the address you sign in with.
